Drawings from my sketch book
I've had these pieces in my hardbound sketchbook for a while. The reason I haven't posted them is that I don't have the typical scanner. Mine is a printer/fax/scan, and it can only scan what you feed into it. Well, I decided to sacrifice the sketchbook for the sake of the blog, and I put razor to each page. I think they look better on the computer anyway.

Warrior Woman
This drawing started as another practice piece on drawing the female face and hair, and it grew into a little bit more. The nose on the background image gave me hell at first. It looked like a pig's nose everytime I drew it. But I pulled out an old WildC.A.T.S. issue and found a similar shot drawn by Jim Lee, and I was able to see the best way to do it.

First Posting!!!
Welcome to my blog!
I've been drawing most of my life, but over the last few years I've gotten really laxed. But recently I realized that this is my purpose in life, and it's time to get on the ball and do something with this. It's time to really start polishing my ability.
The first drawing I've posted is a piece I did to practice after not drawing anything for nearly a month. It's no one in particular, although I thought of Joe Quesada's "Ray" from the early nineties when I was drawing it. He had a similar energy field around him when he flew.
The second piece is a shadow study of Batman that I did after reading AllStar Batman and Robin # 5.
Thanks, and stay tuned!
