I'm not really a Star Wars guy. I've seen all the movies, but I missed the boat in my youth. I was more a Transformers guy. As such, I wasn't familiar with this particular costume for Queen Amidala until the buyer sent me this link for reference:

I struggled a litle bit with this commission. Not exactly sure why. It could have been getting the pose just right, which I'm still not convinced that I pulled off. Sigh. On to the next one.

Power Girl Wrestling Match

Here's the three step process for a Power Girl commission I recently completed. The other chick is the girlfriend of the buyer. Turns out they're big wrestling fans, and he wanted his lady to be the dominant one.

What I've Been Working On Lately

Here are some commissions I just finished. At least the only ones I can post on a family site.

I'll start work on the new batch tonight. I hope I can get it done a lot faster than I did the previous one. Last month I completed nine commissions. Which means I only sold nine commissions. I hope to get to the point where I can get twice that much done. We'll see.

Colored Commander

Don't know why it took me so long to post this thing here. I finished it over a week ago and already posted it on Myspace, Deviantart, Twitpic, even Facebook (which I rarely do anything with). So...here you go.

"Cobra!!!!!!!"

I've always loved Cobra Commander. Hell, I love anything voiced by Chris Latta. Too bad he's long gone. Poor dead bastard. I was intrigued to learn that that wasn't his normal voice. His normal voice was the one he used for Spike's dad on Transformers G1 seasons 1 and 2. He played LOTS of characters throughout his career. I see this commission as a tribute to him.

Batgirl and Dracula Commission

If superheroes were my first love, vampires were my second. This commission gave me the opportunity to combine the two. I was very pleased with the end result. I hope you are, too.

Commission Season

Well, it's commission season again (when is it not).
Here you'll find She-Hulk, Black Cat, and Spider-Man with Black Cat.
I've been posting more regularly to my page at www.powguero.deviantart.com because I have trouble logging in to this site sometimes. I don't plan on abandoning it, though. This blog has served as a showcase of my journey back into drawing over the last two (or so) years.
